The City of Campbell celebrated the Grand Opening of their new City Hall on March 7, 1999. The Mayor, staff and city officials are enjoying the new quarters at 302 West Grand Avenue. The City Council recently voted to abolish all real estate taxes, city taxes and city stickers making Campbell not only an attractive city to live in, but an affordable one as well. The Municipal Electric Plant has local generating capacity, plus city purchased electricity. The City of Campbell owns an 80-acre Industrial Site on the edge of town, located adjacent to highway and railroad. Sites are available now and are a perfect place for industry to locate. Information on the Industrial Park may be obtained by contacting us.         The City of Campbell operates the Municipal Airport, which has a hard surface runway 3,000 feet in length and is lighted for night flying. Approaches are unobstructed from all directions. Modern, steel storage hangars are located on the field for the convenience of aircraft owners. Fuel and a Mechanic are available on site.         Campbell employs ample police and fire protection personnel for its populace and the Campbell Ambulance Service is also provided for the residents of Campbell.
