The City of Campbell celebrated the Grand Opening of their new City Hall on March 7, 1999. The Mayor, staff and city officials are enjoying the new quarters at 302 West Grand Avenue. The City Council recently voted to abolish all real estate taxes, city taxes and city stickers making Campbell not only an attractive city to live in, but an affordable one as well. Utilities, with the exception of Natural Gas, for Campbell are also Municipally owned. The Municipal Electric Plant has local generating capacity, plus city purchased electricity. The City's water comes from two deep artesian wells which give an abundance of the finest and purest water in the state. Other information regarding utilities may be found in our Demographic tables.
